Specify items to launch via System Preferences (see the screenshot for more details).

Selectively control which items are launched and the order in which they're launched.

Specify a minimum amount of time between launches. For example, you can connect your iPod in the morning and have it launch your applications and then have iPod Launcher wait 8 hours before doing another set of launches. You can connect your iPod as many times as you want and applications won't launch until those 8 hours have passed.
